JOB SUMMARY: 

The Sales Support Specialist is primarily responsible for exceeding the customer service expectations for both our external and internal customers while providing a well-structured support system for all sales personnel. As part of the Business Analytics team, th individual is specifically charged with identifying opportunities for enhancing company-wide processes and improve operational efficiencies in customer database management, company resources and support company vision.

KEY DUTIES:

  • Provide excellent sales support to Sales Reps / Sales Managers / Sales VPs on Database reporting and analytics
  • Coordinate Training and Q&A for Sales Reps on an ongoing basis on Sherpa User interface / SherpaGo and Sherpa Processes (CRM System)
  • CRM Database Management:
    • Structured/Unbiased validation of accounts in Database
    • Maintaining account info / DB accuracy
    • Territory / Users / Region alignment and management
    • New Lead Generation and Validation
    • Monthly Database Management of Account information
    • User Interface
  • Business Intelligence
    • Lead Generation / Lead Management
    • HubSpot Tracking of Leads
    • Marketing Campaigns
  • Process Improvement Projects
    • SQL DB Maintenance
  • iSynergy Management
  • Management of Marketing Collateral Business Cards, KPIs, Customer Leave Behinds, etc.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME):
    • Compass Sherpa User Interface / Administrator
    • MS Access / MS Excel / MS Word / MS Outlook
    • DnBi / Hoovers / Sunbiz.org web portals
    • iSynergy / DocuPhase
  • Seeks opportunities for continuous improvement in all areas
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and efficiency to minimize customer concerns and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required. College degree is preferred
  • Previous experience working with a customer relationship management (CRM) tool highly desirable

Skills, Specialized Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Must possess outstanding communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, problem solving and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting with peers and colleagues in a cross functional setting. Must be energetic and willing to help others when needed
  • Must be a self-starter, able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and ability to meet strict deadlines and perform under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail along with strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality requirements
  • May be required to work outside normal business hours including evenings and/or weekends

Requirements (Physical, Mental, Environmental Demands):  

  • Must be able to concentrate, analyze and solve complex issues routinely throughout the course of the work day in an open office space environment
  • Must be able to read and comprehend complex analytical documents throughout the course of the work day
  • Ability to work on PC including repetitive use of a keyboard and mouse for long periods throughout the course of the work day
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time throughout the course of the work day.
